Bio/Background I’m a retired fire chief from Decatur, Texas. After I retired in 2020, I began the journey to becoming a real-bearded Santa at the encouragement of my uncle who has been portraying Santa for 30 years. I was able to grow a decent beard (naturally white) by Christmas of that year and I began my portrayal. 2023 will be my 4th season. I usually spend most of November doing studio work with photographers, then in December I book community and corporate events as well as private parties and home visits. The other 10 months of the year my wife and I travel throughout the USA in a 40 ft motorhome with our 110 lb chocolate labrador, Hozer.
