I have been portraying Santa for 6 years mostly volunteer at Day Care schools, CASA and on an actual train for 10-14 days at a time while living on the train, stopping each night at a different rail station coinciding with that communities’ Christmas celebrations. The passenger train named The Southern Belle pulls the Holiday Express (2 decorated cabooses, a 60′ boxcar filled with model train layouts, and another box car containing supplies. Kids come see Santa for pictures after exiting the Holiday Express. And it all benefits the Salvation Army at each location.
I would like to do public events like stores, shopping malls, Bass Pro Shop etc, and perhaps Santa’s Wonderland. Last year 2023 I had a wonderful Santa experience at a Breakfast with Santa in Navasota, TX.
I am a member of Lone Star Santas and have attended their annual Round-UP training session the past 4 years.
